Siemens Financial Services (SFS) seeks a Risk Manager – Infrastructure Finance to work in the Project Finance Group.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive new transaction risk analysis for infrastructure and energy project finance loan transactions in the Americas and provide structuring support to the Origination team.
- Manage the underwriting process with a focus on risk assessment and optimizing structures.
- Coordinate work streams (Rating, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Operations) during underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
- Prepare credit applications, including due diligence of credit material, review and negotiation of financial models, and of commercial and financing agreements.
- Evaluate transactions from a risk/return perspective and present applications to SFS Management and committee(s).
- Monitor and manage existing transactions in the portfolio, including assessment of requests for waivers and amendments, representing SFS as main point of contact.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with risk strategies, operating policies, and practices to ensure effective risk management throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Maintain a sound understanding of the infrastructure and energy sectors, current market conditions, and financing trends.
- BA/BS in finance, economics, or accounting.
- 3–6 years of relevant work experience or credit analysis.
- Deep knowledge of project finance in the Americas.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, transaction‑oriented team.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines; solid professional writing and analytical skills, especially in the preparation of credit memos and related documents.
