YOURJOB
Your primary responsibility is to support the IFRS
17 and SII valuation across all lines of business for Munich Re Life US.
- Support the preparation of quarterly results under IFRS
17 and SII across multiple onshore and offshore entities, including data delivery, attribution analysis, preparation of disclosures and communication of results. - Support the preparation of financial projections and key performance indicators for strategic and financial planning processes.
- Ensure quality and on-time completion of reporting deliverables.
- Support assumption updates and valuation model changes under IFRS
17 and SII. - Identify and implement enhancements to our data, systems and processes.
- Support special projects such as inforce management actions, deal reviews and ad-hoc requests from home office.
- Identify result drivers and perform attribution analysis under IFRS
17 and SII. - Evaluate performance and profitability of all lines of business.
- Effective communication of results to various stakeholders with varying levels of knowledge of IFRS
17 and SII. - Build relationships across the US organization and beyond.
- Support requests from home office and external reviewers (e.g., auditors).
- ASA or near ASA
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, quantitative discipline, actuarial science, or related field
- Life insurance product knowledge including product design, features, and risks
- Valuation or Financial Reporting experience is preferred
- Knowledge about IFRS
17, SQL and/or GGY AXIS is a plus
