The AOS Rotational Programme gives early‑career apprentices hands‑on experience across a range of accounting and outsourcing services. Rotate through specialist teams, working with clients from financial services, healthcare, large international groups, and privately owned businesses. Operate across five UK offices with access to a wider network of over 300 professionals in our Accounting and Outsourcing line. Build technical expertise, client relationship skills, and understand global finance operations.

- Accounting, Outsourcing & Advisory:
Gain experience of day‑to‑day accounting, the production of management information, calculation of VAT returns, and advisory support including forecasting and finance function reviews. Support accounting compliance activities and learn how to prepare statutory financial statements. Serve as a key contact for your client portfolio and work across large mid‑market clients, including our specialist financial services sector team. - SME Accounting & Outsourcing:
Work very differently, meeting the needs of smaller clients who value a single contact point for a wide range of Forvis Mazars services. Include finance function outsourcing and accounting compliance, personal and corporate tax, and close collaboration with the financial planning team. Target SME clients are fast‑growth entrepreneurial businesses, with a dedicated team specializing in the Healthcare sector. - International Accounting Services:
Deliver day‑to‑day and year‑end accounting solutions for global clients. Coordinate multi‑country engagements and provide interim support when clients lack internal skills. Think globally and support clients with multi‑country assignments – our real specialist skill.

AboutThe Role
As an Associate Client Advisor Apprentice on our Accounts & Outsourcing Services Rotational Programme, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients. Gain exposure to statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT, payroll, and personal tax while developing technical and professional skills. Provide high‑quality advice and collaborate to deliver an excellent client experience.
Roleand Responsibilities As An Apprentice On The Rotational Programme, You Will
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Perform day‑to‑day accounting duties, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining ledgers.
- Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax‑related documentation.
- Contribute to client onboarding, setting up financial systems and gathering initial documentation.
- Participate in financial analysis and reporting to help clients understand their performance.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in line with internal and external compliance standards.
- Collaborate with different teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Communicate professionally with clients, responding to queries and providing updates on progress.
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of your apprenticeship qualification.
