The Corporate Controller is responsible for directing the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and tax compliance. This role ensures adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), facilitates informed decision-making through financial analysis, and drives continuous improvement in operational and financial performance.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversee all Accounting, Treasury, and Tax functions
- Develop and implement accounting policies in compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to assess corporate performance
- Oversee the development and management of the annual operating, capital, and financial budgets
- Collaborate with operations and administrative departments to align financial goals and optimize performance
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors; ensure a clean audit opinion and compliance with GAAP
- Implement effective inventory control and valuation procedures
- Partner with Human Resources to evaluate and manage employee benefit programs and related costs
- Work with the Legal department on risk management strategies, including evaluation of insurance coverage and cost-effectiveness
- Supervise tax planning and compliance activities; coordinate with external accountants on tax filings and estimates
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity oversight
- Participate in acquisition due diligence and lead financial integration efforts
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency
- Conduct financial research, develop analysis, and lead special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles
- Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana, Vertex, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Experience in a complex, multi-entity or global corporate environment preferred
