Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst, Sales & OpEx will play a critical role supporting Sales and Marketing leadership through comprehensive financial planning and analysis. This position is responsible for managing the annual operating plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, and monthly close processes, including expense reporting and variance analysis. The analyst will provide actionable insights through OpEx and P&L reviews, assess risks and opportunities, and prepare accurate monthly financial reports and forecasts.

Essential

Functions
  • Analyze monthly expenses and ensure management has actionable information to drive business decisions.
  • Discuss financial data with leaders, identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, and “tell the story.”
  • Serve as a financial advisor to department heads, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Own the monthly reporting process, variance reporting for senior management, and lead monthly/quarterly reviews ensuring financials are complete and accurate.
  • Assist with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) design, development, reporting, and consolidation, meeting cross‑functional leaders to develop budgets for presentation and reviews with senior executives.
  • Manage quarterly forecast processes and develop expense targets, working with leaders to ensure accurate financial projections and reporting to senior executives.
  • Answer inquiries from leaders and develop monthly general ledger reclassifications based on reviews of transactional data.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship building skills with cross‑functional partners.
  • Demonstrate problem‑solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
Other Functions
  • Collaboration with the IT department as required for current and future projects related to organizational or departmental initiatives.

Qualifications
  • 4‑6 years of experience in a finance position, CPG/Alc Bev preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Adept at translating complex financial data into clear, actionable presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Proven aptitude for analysis, critical thinking, problem solving, self‑motivation, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine and implement acceptable solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain accountability for deliverables and ensure timely completion of financial analyses and reports.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be flexible in changing priorities.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of SQL or relational databases and familiarity with JD Edwards is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Primary work activities are remote.
  • Limited travel to TWG facilities in Northern California, with overnight stays as needed (~5%).
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid in‑person/remote work environment.
Compensation

Hiring Salary Range Posted: $84,400 − $126,600.
