Join Intuit as a Bilingual Spanish Tax Expert. This is a seasonal, 100% remote position requiring an active PTIN and an unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney).
OverviewIntuit is seeking tax experts for the upcoming tax season to provide tax advice, prepare full‑service returns, perform tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries. The role demands strong bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
What You Will Do- Help customers complete their taxes using Turbo Tax products.
- Provide tax advice, full‑service return preparation, and tax calculations.
- Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language.
- Interact with customers via state‑of‑the‑art video communication software and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
- Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ individual 1040 tax returns with commercial tax preparation software.
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with extensive knowledge of tax laws and a valid PTIN.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written & spoken).
- Passionate about helping clients and committed to enhancing Intuit’s brand through excellent customer service.
- Comfortable interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week across at least three days.
- Willingness to obtain any required credentials or certifications if not already held.
Competitive compensation with a performance‑based rewards approach. Base pay ranges per location are:
- Bay Area, California: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- Southern California: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- Colorado: $27.50 - $34.80/hr
- Hawaii: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- Illinois: $27.50 - $34.80/hr
- Maryland: $27.50 - $34.80/hr
- Massachusetts: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- Minnesota: $24.80 - $30.30/hr
- New Jersey: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- New York: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- Ohio: $24.80 - $30.30/hr
- Vermont: $27.50 - $34.80/hr
- Washington: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
- Washington DC: $28.80 - $36.50/hr
Additional compensation may include cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits per Intuit’s applicable plans. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location.
