General Job Description
Our Funding Administrator is an individual with the vision and dedication needed to oversee and develop Funding activities.
Our Funding Administrator role is a challenging and dynamic position with opportunity for advancement. As a Funding Administrator with Westlake Direct, LLC dba Loan Center, you will be ensuring a seamless completion of the loan Funding Process. The successful Funding Coordinator will work closely with Loan Officers, Credit Analyst and Management to oversee daily Funding activities.
If you’re currently working in a dealership’s business office or in any administrative role, a junior accountant, billing specialist, or office manager — we want to hear from you! While you may not have direct experience as a Funding Administrator, your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage paperwork and deadlines translate perfectly into this role. We’ve found that people with strong administrative or accounting backgrounds thrive in funding because they already excel at reviewing documents, ensuring accuracy, and keeping processes running smoothly.
Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to)
- Thoroughly review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to Westlake Direct’s credit policy.
- Verify completeness of all necessary documents and information.
- Collaborate with Loan Officers and Credit Analysts to resolve any discrepancies or missing information.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a smooth Funding process.
- Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds to Lienholders and Dealers.
- Conduct quality control checks on loan files to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies.
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the Funding process promptly and efficiently.
- Implement improvements in the Funding workflow.
Knowledge, Skills, Licenses
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of online meeting tools (Teams, Zoom).
- Comfort and skill with working with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced Team environment.
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from four-year college or university, preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Automotive and Finance Experience; beneficial
- Previous Loan Funding or Underwriting Experience; beneficial
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint); required
- Knowledge of Web Applications; beneficial
- Knowledge/Experience with the use of Dealer Track, Routeone, or CUDL; beneficial

Pay rate
What’s our pay plan?
- Base pay of $3,636.53 per month. $20.98 base rate plus monthly bonus opportunity of approximately $2,000.00
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable
