Financial Planning & Pensions Recruitment Specialist | Connecting Talent with Leading Financial Services FirmsWe are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Complex Case Team of a global investment firm
This is a high-impact role at, where you will provide expert, seamless, and compassionate support to clients navigating the highly sensitive and complex process of estate settlement.
You are the final, most crucial touchpoint. We require a leader who can master both the technical complexities of financial regulation and the emotional demands of client care.
Key Areas of Ownership- Complex Case Management: Assume ownership of a challenging caseload, managing end-to-end estate settlement across a full range of client investment products (including Retirement Accounts, ISAs, and General Investment Accounts).
- Vulnerability & Advocacy: Actively identify and support vulnerable clients, implementing solutions to ensure fair and positive outcomes during highly sensitive times.
- Regulatory Authority: Ensure all communication is timely, clear, and fully compliant with evolving probate and tax legislation.
- Strategic Improvement: Leverage your expertise to identify service trends, recommend process automation opportunities, and drive best practices across our entire Personal Investor Service.
- Team Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, sharing complex bereavement knowledge through formal training and guidance to internal partners.
- Deep Subject Expertise: Proven, significant experience handling complex, sensitive bereavement cases, including those involving high-net-worth clients.
- Technical Acumen: Strong, demonstrable knowledge of probate law and inheritance tax (IHT) legislation
. - Product Knowledge: Familiarity with major UK investment and pension products, particularly Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs).
- Communication Mastery: Excellent, empathetic communication skills and the proven ability to navigate challenging, emotional conversations with tact and clarity.
