Chef de Service, Fiscalité / Income Tax Manager – Montreal, QC, Canada
Reports to the Director of Taxation & Government Relations and is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate income tax compliance, tax provision and reporting, tax audits, transfer pricing support, tax risk identification, and process improvement within the tax function.

- Manage all Canadian tax compliance, including SR&ED claims and transfer‑pricing documentation.
- Coordinate and prepare U.S. tax compliance (corporate income tax filings) for accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead tax audit strategies and activities across international, withholding, and domestic tax areas.
- Prepare income‑tax forecasts for budgeting purposes.
- Ensure corporate tax remittances and reconcile tax accounts.
- Provide comprehensive tax support to business units on various tax matters.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tax processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tax authorities, finance, treasury, legal, and commercial teams.
- Stay current on tax legislation and regulations, assessing their impact on company operations.
- CPA designation or equivalent required.
- In‑depth tax specialization (CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Course or Master’s in Taxation) preferred.
- Minimum five years’ experience in international and corporate tax.
- Proficient with Taxprep and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Self‑motivated with a methodical approach to projects.
- Strong critical‑thinking skills, using logic and reason to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and best practices.
