We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will play a key part in supporting the organization’s financial health and strategic objectives through accurate reporting and insightful analysis. This position is located at the Guelph office located at 104 Cooper Drive, Guelph. Ontario One Call has a hybrid work model with staff dividing their workweek between in-office and at-home work per company policy.

• Support the month‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports as well as the supporting working paper files.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and NPO financial reporting standards.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform detailed variance analysis on actuals versus budget and prior periods.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial trends and performance metrics.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Collaborate with department leaders to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor budget performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and modeling processes.
• Participate in system upgrades or implementations related to financial reporting and planning.

• Support the external audit by answering questions and gathering requested information for the auditors.
• Prepare and submit monthly/annual HST and WSIB filings as required.
