What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Research and develop new methods for insurance rating and loss reserving
  • Prepare and coordinate analyses of rate and statistical filings for regulatory submissions
  • Provide training and mentorship to Actuarial Analysts
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide actuarial support
  • Conduct data analysis, rate reviews, and recommend changes to insurance products
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area with 5 years of experience in statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
  • Or a graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or related area with 3 years of experience
  • Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
