Job Description Summary

Position:
Corporate Payroll Tax Analyst reporting to Corporate Director of Payroll. This role provides support in researching and resolving payroll tax queries, performing tax audits, managing payroll tax filings, and working with ADP to ensure timely funding and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Research and resolve payroll tax‑related questions from care team members and maintain compliance with tax laws.
  • Generate, review, and reconcile all tax‑related audit reports, identify and resolve audit concerns accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate with the ADP Account Manager to ensure timely funding of payroll taxes, accurate submission of W‑2 files, and management of W‑2 audits.
  • Reconcile quarterly tax filings and deposits, register new states for remote workers, and maintain local and state tax jurisdictions.
  • Resolve ADP exceptions, rejections, and corrections and provide tax documentation and support during internal and external audits.
  • Address CTM questions and/or concerns and provide solutions in a fast‑paced, complex environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–4 years of payroll or accounting experience in a large, complex organization (healthcare preferred); direct payroll experience may be substituted.
  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting practices and payroll tax laws.
  • Certified payroll designation is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, ADP, and related payroll systems; experience with Workday and MS Access is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to apply policy and procedures accurately and communicate professionally across phone, email, and in‑person.
