Role
:
Remote Tax Professional who will serve clients with diverse tax needs and work with a team that provides advanced tax training to support success.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Coordinate regularly with leaders and peers about how remote work is impacting results.
• Grow tax expertise and stay current with tax regulations.

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet.
• Proficiency with technology (MS Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email, and chat to inspire client confidence.
• Strong customer service skills and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or higher; continuing education requirements and IRS/state requirements as applicable.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season.
• Ability to research information using tax publications and instructions as needed.

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Pay range: $11.00 - $80.00/HR
