Compliance Specialist (Southern California – 1522)

Join EA Housing as a full‑time Compliance Specialist at its Tarzana, CA corporate office. The role monitors regulatory and company policy compliance, provides support at EAH Communities in Southern California and neighboring regions, and serves as a help‑desk for compliance issues.

• Plan and conduct quarterly on‑site reviews of projects funded through Tax Credit, HUD Section 8, Tax Exempt Bonds, AHP, RHCP, CalHFA, CDBG, NEF, MHP, and other public or private sources.
• Verify compliance with rules of funding sources, Fair Housing standards and EAH Policies and Procedures.
• Recommend corrective action to resolve non‑compliance and work with managers to implement corrections.
• Provide compliance‑related consultative services to site managers and their staff.
• Identify trends in non‑compliance and recommend process or policy changes and training.
• Assist the Compliance Director with the implementation of policies, procedures and processes.

• Two years’ experience in property management or a housing regulatory agency; multi‑regional property‑management experience preferred.
• Certification(s) such as COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), CPO (Certified Profession of Occupancy) or TCS (Tax Credit Specialist) desirable.
