CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Planning Senior Associate to work directly with our wealth advisory teams to provide client and prospective client wealth management solutions. This role supports our centralized financial planning model, onboarding new offices onto our wealth planning platform, executive financial planning, and continually developing strategies and solutions to better serve our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation, development, and delivery of client financial plans.
  • Assist with training our wealth team on eMoney and our financial planning approach.
  • Data entry and advanced planning in eMoney.
  • Support transition of client financial planning data into eMoney, specifically data from new CAPTRUST offices.
  • Collaborate closely with financial advisors, client service, and peers on the Wealth Planning team.
  • Support business development activities with prospective clients.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects within required deadlines.
  • Contribute to new research and project initiatives.
  • May work beyond normal working hours when necessary.
  • Very minimal travel expected.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in eMoney Advisor or similar financial planning software.
  • CFP designation or in process of obtaining designation.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, being polished, courteous, professional, and patient.
  • Good organizational skills such as multi‑tasking, adapting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong background and knowledge with financial planning strategies.
  • Technology savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office.
