- Key member of the Internal Audit team; participate in the execution of internal audits. Responsible for developing audit objectives, documenting and evaluating critical controls, and implementing audit tests under the supervision of more experienced auditors.
- Hybrid work model: 3 days in office (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with flexibility to work from home. Locations considered:
Cumberland, RI;
Hartford, CT;
Northbrook, IL;
Scottsdale, AZ. Preferred location will be considered upon acceptance.
- Effectively perform and document audit activities in accordance with professional standards and the organization’s audit methodology.
- Execute testing and create work paper documentation.
- Understand procedures, results and business impacts; document and express such understanding in written and verbal form.
- Perform detail testing as defined by the test program to define, analyze and validate information.
- Create clear and accurate documentation and workflows of business processes and testing results and exceptions.
- Complete detail‑level reviews of all test work prepared by more junior level audit team members.
- Meet administrative reporting requirements and support department initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to integrity, the company code of conduct, and respect for diversity and inclusion.
- Contribute to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness.
- 0–2 years prior experience in a relevant accounting or auditing role/internship position.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- 1–2 years prior experience in a relevant accounting or auditing role/internship position.
- Prior experience, including internship experience, working in public accounting, a large corporation and/or related fields (e.g., Health Care, Insurance).
- Professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.; measured progress in achieving such designations.
- Experience demonstrating critical thinking and analytical ability.
- Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Solid meeting management and written communication skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Information Technology, Finance.

Pay Range: $43,888.00 – $93,574.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
