Tax Director - Flow through (Irvine/ Santa Monica/Long Beach)

As a Tax Director (Flow through), you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and building strategies to help develop and maintain relationships with clients throughout the tax process.

Requirements:

• Licensed CPA

• 6+ years’ experience in public accounting in Tax

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master degree preferred)

• Licensed CPA or EA certification

• Extensive experience with flow-through taxation

• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proactive thinking and a strong desire to learn

• Extensive experience in researching tax issues related to flow-through entities

Responsibilities:

• Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of flow-through clients in Real Estate, Crypto Currency, Venture Capital, Private Equity and/or Wine industries

• Manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality work timely and efficiently

• Develop and deliver innovative financial planning ideas to meet or exceed client expectations

• Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and industries

• Develop recommendations and implementation plans for clients and team members

• Develop and mentor tax seniors and associates by reviewing their work and providing leadership and career guidance

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 a year. The salary range is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area; a recruiter will provide a range specific to location and qualifications.
