Senior Tax Manager - Accounting & Advisory

As a member of our Tax team, you will be empowered to work directly with our diverse client base to provide a broad spectrum of tax and related consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engagement Manager and be responsible for planning, execution, final deliverable and billing and collections

• Review complex individual, partnership, S and C corporate tax returns, as well as nonprofit, trust returns, and work papers

• Monitor client engagements against the budget and communicate schedule adjustments to management

• Analyze complex client transactions to identify and resolve potential and/or existing problems

• Manage communication with staff and clients addressing client concerns as needed

• Identify opportunities to increase level and type of services

• Provide outstanding client service by building client confidence and trust

• Develop team member's technical skills and encourage professional growth

Requirements

• CPA required

• 8+ years with public accounting firm experience with tax focus

• Experience with CCH Axcess preferred

• A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities

• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and sharp analytical skills

• Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and a proven track record of follow-through

Salary Range: $165,000 USD - $200,000 USD
