• Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the cryptocurrency exchange
• Document risk reporting procedures and assist in daily risk reporting and monitoring of markets
• Proactively identify and report risks, escalating material issues to risk managers
• Conduct compliance investigations into potential rule violations and perform compliance-related audits
• Communicate compliance analysis and findings to department management and other business members

• Deep knowledge of global regulations and mandates pertaining to cryptocurrency and digital assets
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with cryptocurrency exchange platforms and risk management protocols
• 3+ years of experience coordinating money transmitter licenses with states
• 2+ years of experience coordinating regulatory approvals with FINRA, SEC, CFTC, or NFA
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Familiarity with blockchain technology, its underlying concepts, architecture, and protocols
• FINRA Series 7/24 certification is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of global AML/CTF and sanctions risks and regulations
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a structured manner
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups
