About the business areaThe Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro‑business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. The business is committed to driving digital innovation to deliver excellence in customer service. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
Inthis role, your key responsibilities include
- Relationship Management – Develop and manage Excellency client relationships to meet client needs and achieve the Bank’s objectives, identify new clients, and articulate the services/products ADCB offers to increase portfolio size and wallet share. Manage daily interactions with clients and provide superior client service to enhance experiences and maximize profitability. Coordinate service provisions with other teams to ensure efficient turnaround of transactions and timely fulfilment of clients’ enquiries and documentation.
- Portfolio Management – Monitor and control Excellency customer portfolios to achieve quality objectives through cross‑sell, upsell and retention. Cross‑sell and upsell various Excellency portfolio products to existing accounts based on client requirements, contributing to product penetration and wallet share growth. Conduct financial profiling with each client to understand their requirements and future goals, and recommend Excellency products/services that help achieve those plans.
- Volume Delivery – Deliver the agreed financial targets, adhering to required standards, policies and procedures to meet set targets.
- Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures – Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, ensuring employee adherence so work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required levels of service to customers and stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement – Manage and motivate the team to contribute to and participate in change initiatives, programs and projects in line with the Bank’s standards.
- Customer Service – Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the required levels of service in all internal and external interactions.
- At least 6 years of relationship‑management experience in banking/financial services.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Accredited Financial Analyst, Certified Investment Professional, Certificate in Quantitative Finance, Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified International Investment Analyst.
- Master Financial Risk Manager (FRM), International Compliance Association (ICA) Specialist or Certificate in Conduct Risk.
- Working knowledge and experience of banking operations, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Strong planning, analytical and time‑management skills.
- In‑depth knowledge of global financial markets and trends.
- Understanding of wealth‑management products and services.
- Competitive Salary – The indicative pay range for this role is AED 23,000 – AED 32,000 per month. All employees are eligible to participate in rewarding variable pay plans.
