The Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) provides a portfolio of corporate banking services, including investment & transaction banking as well as financial market solutions. It serves a broad range of clients both domestically and across the MENA region, including government entities, financial institutions, large to mid‑size corporates, and commercial clients (SMEs), and maintains strategic relationships with leading banks globally.

Responsibilities

Coordinate facility requests and monitor the agency portfolio to ensure compliance with ADCB policies, procedures and guidelines.
Create new agency Customer Identification Number (CID) and prepare control and monitor sheets to ensure required records are in place for all new customer facilities, and that covenants are recorded in CACM system and cash waterfall and accounts are opened per the agreement.
Ensure conditions precedents have been met and notifications are provided to lenders/borrowers as per the terms of the agreement.
Issue notifications of intention to borrowers to invoke clauses, based on lenders' instructions, and issue notifications to lenders of any default (actual or potential) to ensure compliance with covenants/information undertakings and other terms of the agreement.
Notify drawdowns, rollovers and repayments to borrowers and lenders within agreed turnaround times and ensure LIBOR/EBOR rates are in line with rate fixing for the interest period as provided by ADCB Treasury or specified in the facility agreement to ensure all conditions are met and funds can be dispersed.
Distribute information covenants to lenders promptly once received from the borrower.
Pass information for any payment default or technical default to lenders and borrower.
Create reports of fees due to be received within the next 30 days for all agency facilities on a monthly basis to ensure consistency and compliance with ADCB policy.
Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

At least 6 years of experience in Banking with an understanding of legal documentation and trade finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
