Job Overview

As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you'll develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team and other regional financial advisors. Our branch‑team business model provides a dedicated branch office administrator and world‑class products, services and support so you can focus on delivering tailored solutions to meet clients’ unique and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media and speaking engagements).
  • Deeply understand clients' and prospective clients' needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
  • Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
  • Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.
  • Utilize firm‑provided branch office and client support network to lighten your workload and focus on clients.
  • Work independently with the support of a network of thousands spanning local, regional, and home offices.

Hiring Minimum / Hiring Maximum

Minimum: $50,000 – Maximum: $125,000

Candidate Qualifications
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required
  • Experience in financial services working with clients; in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services with a track record of success
  • State insurance licenses preferred
  • Preferred additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC™, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™
