Aboutthe Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll strengthen financial integrity across Bay Care’s Behavioral Health service lines. You’ll lead audit‑focused reviews, uncover insights from complex data, and partner with leaders to improve processes, compliance, and decision‑making directly supporting high‑quality patient care.
Your role within the team- Audit & Controls: Plan and execute audits across revenue cycle, charge capture/charge master, capital & operating spend, and internal controls; document findings and remediation plans.
- Compliance Readiness: Assess regulatory and policy adherence; support readiness for internal/external reviews and help close corrective actions.
- Financial Analysis: Build and maintain models for budgets, forecasts, variance and trend analyses; translate outcomes into clear recommendations.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop executive‑ready reports and dashboards (Excel/Power BI) that improve accuracy and visibility for Behavioral Health leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify root causes, streamline workflows, and monitor results of implemented changes; advance continuous improvement across BH finance.
- Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders across Behavioral Health, Patient Financial Solutions/Revenue Cycle, and Decision Support to align on priorities and timelines.
- Required: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred: Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Preferred: CPA
- Minimum of 5 years of related finance experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare finance setting.
