Overview

Default Reporting Analyst I s role involves supporting and developing various reporting needs across the corporation, using tools to create advanced documents for trending and management of a mortgage portfolio.

Location:

Lake Zurich, IL, US - Remote. Full time;
Non-Exempt; 37.5 hours/week;
Overtime as required.

Base pay range: $22.50/hr - $26.00/hr

• Create, review, and generate reports and documents for various customers and business partners from multiple sources.
• Follow complex procedures and scripts to provide data used across the company and in audits. Validate information prior to submission to minimize downstream effects.
• Provide support for state, client, investor, and insurer audits.
• Complete annual regulatory compliance training.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Support other team members when needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis.
• 2+ years’ experience in mortgage banking/servicing or financial services preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications; ability to write and execute complex formulas, macros, lookups, and pivot tables from multiple files or databases; strong technology concepts.
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain complex or technical information clearly.

• Experience in banking, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or other default-related fields.
