CompensationStarting pay: $60,000 - $65,000 annually. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Responsibilities- Reviewing new and renewal submissions from our agents
- Determining acceptable risks and adequate pricing
- Working with other underwriting departments to help maintain profitability in assigned territories
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Negotiation skills
- Strong focus on detail
- Ability to develop positive relationships with agency personnel and field associates
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to make sound decisions based on information presented
- A bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting or finance
