Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Manager, FP&A – North America Ecommerce, you will lead the North America Ecom FP&A team, covering both short‑ and long‑range financial planning and reporting, summarizing business performance through management reporting on monthly and quarterly results. You will partner closely with the North America Commercial team, the North America FP&A team and the finance team within Arc’teryx to provide senior management with the analysis to understand business trends, make investment decisions and track and monitor performance to enable both the Ecom and broader North America commercial teams to deliver on its goals.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid or remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.
CoreActivities:
- Act as a business partner to the North America eCommerce team, responsible for preparation of all aspects of P&L forecasting and reporting (sales, margin and SG&A)
- Provide strategic insights to North America eCommerce team to support opportunities to drive profitability and margin improvement.
- Own monthly P&L reporting packaging for North America Ecom team, including presentation to Leadership.
- Build and maintain strong business partnership with senior leadership across Ecom, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain.
- Work in close partnership with the Ecom Sales Planning team, articulating targets and understanding key sales driving metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, AUR).
- Partner with the Digital Marketing team to support investment proposals, tracking of monthly digital marketing spend and ROAS.
- Lead a senior financial analyst, supporting development planning, prioritization of deliverables and key decision making.
- Collaborate with eCommerce team and technology team to prepare and evaluate business cases related to future web/app capabilities.
- Build out the FP&A ecom team to support the growth of the North America Business.
- Broad skill set to cover retail and/or wholesale channels.
- Develop and implement system optimizations for financial planning and reporting within North America.
- 10+ years proven experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role ideally with experience in a digital and omni‑channel environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. A professional accounting designation is preferred.
- Passion for enabling teams to plan better, work with agility and communicate clearly and concisely.
- Strategic partnership mindset and enjoy acting as a thought partner to both finance and commercial leaders.
- Advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with SAP FICO, Oracle, and Power BI is an asset.
- Highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools.
- Strong priority management, capable of managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries.

$125,000 – $172,000 a year. This range reflects base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer. Individual pay is determined by factors such as job‑related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
