This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Mortgage Loan Officer will guide clients through the process of securing loans for home purchases and refinancing. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to assess financial needs, evaluating loan applications, coordinating with underwriters, maintaining excellent customer service throughout the process, and staying informed of mortgage product offerings and market trends to provide tailored solutions for clients.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in the Mortgage Lending industry
- Strong understanding of Mortgage Industry standards, including loan options and compliance regulations
- Knowledge of underwriting processes and the ability to evaluate loan applications effectively
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including communication and relationship-building abilities
- Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with a valid NMLS number
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both in-person and remotely, depending on business needs
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
