Job Overview

As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you'll develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team and other regional financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, speaking engagements).
  • Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
  • Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
  • Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
  • Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.
  • Enjoy a firm‑provided branch office and client support team.
  • Work independently while being backed by a network of advisors, regional support, and a home office.

  • Critical thinking, decision making, and passion for new opportunities.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required.
  • Experience in financial services working with clients, with in‑depth knowledge of investment products and a record of success.
  • State insurance licenses preferred.
  • Preferred additional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC® or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™.
