• Help customers complete their tax returns using Intuit Turbo Tax products, providing tax guidance and reviewing personal returns for self‑prepared customers.
• Prepare full‑service tax returns and manage product/software inquiries to accelerate the goal of powering prosperity worldwide.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to research and deliver accurate answers to customers in clear, understandable terms.
• Serve as a virtual, customer‑facing tax expert, utilizing advanced video communication software and documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.
• Assist bilingual French/English customers with real‑time guidance on a range of tax matters across Canada.
• Provide expertise on complex tax elements such as employment, self‑employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
• Deliver excellent customer service through professional, friendly, confident video and audio interactions.
• Work a flexible schedule, available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

• Minimum of 2+ years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide a CRA RepID for the Represent a Client service after successful onboarding.
• Proficient in professional tax software for personal return preparation and filing.
• Strong customer service skills and enthusiasm for helping clients navigate tax complexities.
• Fluency in both English and French; capable of preparing returns and providing guidance in either language.
• Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

• Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) returns.
• Experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.

• Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Active listening to develop empathy and understand customer pain points.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, taking ownership to resolve or appropriately escalates issues.
• Curiosity and continuous learning mindset, researching resources to deliver suitable solutions.
• Technical acumen, learning necessary tools and troubleshooting basic issues.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a performance‑based rewards approach. The expected base pay ranges are as follows:
PEI $24.50/hour – $33.50/hour
BC $24.50/hour – $33.50/hour
Nova Scotia $24.50/hour – $33.50/hour
This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
