Are you an experienced residential construction loan professional seeking a remote role that allows you to utilize your expertise in complex project support? Fairway is looking for a Construction Loan Specialist to manage and facilitate the successful execution of construction loans across our Fairway portfolio. You will serve as the subject matter expert, ensuring compliance and smooth coordination from initial approval to final inspection.

• Support construction financing for projects across the Fairway portfolio.
• Serve as the product specialist for all construction loan inquiries from branches and internal teams.
• Review and verify that all construction loan conditions (following CAP criteria) are met before releasing funds.
• Coordinate effectively with branches, borrowers, and General Contractors (GCs) to ensure all necessary documentation is obtained and properly executed.
• Process loan files with modified terms, ensuring requalification when necessary, and meeting all agency requirements for delivery.
• Manage post-construction actions, including ordering final inspections upon receipt of the Certificate of Occupancy (COO).
• Communicate with the lock desk and branches regarding float-down timing.
• Assist the branch with pre-disclosure review of construction terms to ensure accurate loan setup.
• Ensure all processes meet state and federal real estate lending regulations and agency requirements (Conventional, FHA / VA, and Jumbo).

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in residential loan construction.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of construction loans, as well as Conventional, Government (FHA / VA), and Jumbo loan requirements.
• Solid grasp of state and federal real estate lending regulations.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret data and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
