Tax Director – Seasonal Consultant (Remote)

Engagement: Contract for Busy Season

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Director to provide high-level consulting support during the upcoming busy season. This is a remote contract role focused on managing high-volume small business tax returns and ensuring compliance for a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and review complex tax returns for small businesses, corporations, and partnerships.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve complex tax issues.
• Deliver timely and accurate work under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• CPA required; advanced tax knowledge strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in public accounting or consulting.
• Strong technical expertise in small business taxation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
