As a Qualified Actuarial Consultant at KPMG you take a lead delivery role, managing small teams across a wide range of client projects such as IFRS 17 impact assessments and implementations, finance transformations, mergers and acquisitions, providing advice on capital models or supporting our own Audit colleagues. In this role you will lead project teams in the delivery of client engagements, provide technical input to various projects, and draft reports and presentations.
Whatwill you need to do it?
- Be a fully qualified actuary, with experience working in a Life Actuarial function or life consultancy.
- Manage concurrent engagements and help shape and implement KPMG’s tailored solutions.
- Possess strong technical and communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to deal with clients and senior personnel from day one.
- Demonstrate strong project and people management skills, structuring task allocations around critical goals.
- Show strong coaching skills to develop the capabilities of junior team members.
- Previous experience within a consultancy, or a qualified actuary coming from industry who can demonstrate the abilities needed to support senior management in cultivating and maintaining target client relationships, including assisting with proposals and sales material development.
