Head of Finance

We are looking for a qualified finance leader to step into the role of Head of Finance with a financial services company. This position reports to the CFO and offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving performance, and ensuring excellence across all areas of financial management. The Opportunity The Head of Finance will take full ownership of financial operations, covering financial accounting, management reporting, FP&A, regulatory reporting, risk management support, treasury, and systems oversight.

Acting as a key business partner to senior stakeholders, the role is central to maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of financial and management reporting, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery. Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support commercial and strategic goals. Manage accounting, treasury, tax, and working capital functions. Oversee regulatory submissions (including FCA) and internal/external audits. Partner with executive leaders to drive financial insight, efficiency, and value creation. Support governance, risk management, and consumer duty responsibilities.

Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing finance team. About You Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) Proven experience within the financial services sector. Broad experience across financial reporting, FP&A, control, and compliance. Strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to drive change and process improvement.
