Head of Finance & Accounts

About the Role We are looking for a strategic Head of Finance who can drive our financial performance ensuring we are in the best position possible at all times.

You will also have full financial responsibility including:
Overseeing P & L Overseeing all budgets - Creating & Monitoring overall budgets and individual department budgets Working with individual budget holders and supporting them Quarterly reporting and presenting to the board Forecasting and Cashflow Compliance and appropriate submissions You will ensure the day to day financial operations are running efficiently and effectivly. Managing one team member, you will be actively involved in all financial accounting.

About You You will be a strategic financial leader, ideally with some experience in a charity and/or NFP organisation. You will have worked with SORP's regulations and have a flair for translating key financial data and presenting it clearly. With the ability to run and organise the financial side of the accounting operations you will also be an organised efficient leader who ensures the basics are done well.

Important This role is for four days per week. The salary is £46,000 pro rata for 4 days (£36,800 actual). You will be required to work in the office with 1-2 days per week remote working.
