Risk Manager/Analyst, Financial Analyst
The Analyst, Global Risk Management will provide essential support to the Risk Management team in delivering accurate data and effective solutions across Marine Insurance, Surety, and Payments areas. This role ensures timely underwriting data for global marine insurance renewals, manages post‑renewal documentation, and supports financial instrument placements and renewals. Additionally, the Analyst contributes to strategic initiatives related to Cards and Alternative Payments across the Carnival Group.
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Marine Insurance:
Compile and analyze underwriting data for global marine insurance renewals (Protection & Indemnity, Hull & Machinery, Cargo & Warehousing etc.). Review and distribute post‑renewal documentation. Monitor marine insurance claims and maintain accurate records. Reconcile broker invoices and allocate premiums across operating entities. - Surety:
Support renewal and placement of bonds, guarantees, and letters of credit. Coordinate with brokers, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders. Ensure accuracy of financial instruments and facilitate amendments. - Payments:
Perform routine and ad‑hoc analysis to support Cards and Alternative Payments strategies. Collaborate with service providers and internal teams to meet operational goals. Provide support as needed with other Risk Management and Treasury related matters.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Risk Management or related field. Professional qualification (CPA, CRM, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Risk Management, Insurance or Treasury role. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of automation or AI tools beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret complex data sets.
- High attention to detail for managing documentation and financial instruments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Process‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Less than 25% non‑shipboard travel likely.
Remote WorkThis position is classified as “remote.” Remote work allows full‑time employees to work from home; occasional in‑office collaboration at Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL may be required.
