Accountant, Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting

This is a remote position. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in U.S. accounting principles, with extensive experience in the real estate industry, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.

• Maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, payments, and payroll, and reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, generate insights on financial activities, and create charts, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate findings to executives and stakeholders.
• Analyze key metrics, identify trends, and research market conditions, competitor strategies, and industry benchmarks to support strategic planning.
• Provide actionable recommendations to optimize operations, increase revenue, and improve profitability.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting while building and maintaining spreadsheets to streamline financial processes.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, contributing to efficient and transparent financial management.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in Quick Books Pro and Xero (certifications preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
