Controller
Gina Group, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our Real Estate Lending division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with proven experience in financial management, reporting, and controls. As Controller, you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial integrity, support strategic decision-making, and drive the overall financial performance of the organization.

Responsibilities- Maintain and create Quick Books files for new real estate deals.
- Manage quarterly investor distributions through TD Bank and Valley National Bank, including preparing and performing waterfall distributions.
- Account for Construction‑in‑Process projects, including Quick Books entries and cash flow management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with staff to ensure accurate recording in trackers and ledgers.
- Collect funds and investor contributions for new syndications.
- Maintain Quick Books for the lending company, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Update and manage ledgers tracking partner investments and balances.
- Prepare and issue 1099‑INT forms for external partners.
- Manage cash flow for the lending fund, including oversight of the company’s line of credit with the bank.
- Coordinate with staff to draft and finalize lending contracts.
- Prepare monthly lending reports utilizing Quick Books.
- Create and send monthly interest payments to lending partners, along with preparing and distributing partner statements.
- Coordinate with CPA to prepare and file tax returns.
- Manage and train staff (both entry‑level and mid‑level employees).
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, general operations, including office salaries and expenses.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA.
- 5+ years of accounting or controller experience, preferably in real estate, lending, or investment management.
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing cash flow, AP/AR, and banking relationships.
- Knowledge of tax compliance and experience preparing financial reports.
- Ability to train and manage staff and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

The pay range for this position is ($100,000 – $150,000) annually based on skills and experience.
