The salary range for this position is $59,661.54 to $96,767.80 for Schedule A, and $59,661.54 to $91,929.42 for Schedule
B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule
A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule
B.
Under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor 2 in the Finance Division, the responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following: administer periodic reviews of internal controls within the division, prepare analysis of accounts and compile statistical data of financial transactions in Excel, tabulate financial and statistical data, analyze bank statements and financial transactions, answer questions regarding financial data, check work for accuracy and completeness, verify data against source documents, participate in team exercises, attend training as required by supervisor, prepare and enter accounting information into various systems and spread sheets, audit the change fund, as well as other work as assigned.
REMOTEWORK
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
- Support the collection offices by leading daily closeouts as needed
- Process refunds
- Reconcile JEDS transactions
- Lead daily cash closeouts
- Reconcile Fee Waivers
- Process Cash Receipt Documents
- Assist in year end escheatment processing
- Void returned checks
- Reconcile bank accounts
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree including or supplemented by 21 credit hours in accounting, business administration, economics, public administration statistics, mathematics, data analytics, and/or financial related courses. Six of these credit hours must be in accounting.
SubstitutionApplicants who do not possess the required education, but do possess the 21 accounting, business administration, economics, public administration, statistics, mathematics, data analytics, and/or financial related courses, including six accounting credit hours, may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits.

Driver's LicenseAppointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
Authorization to WorkUS citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
