This role redefines traditional FP&A. It is a finance operating system for those who build. At 2 Hour Learning you won’t spend time revising outdated budgets or relying on business intelligence teams. Instead, you’ll construct the financial models, real‑time dashboards, and control frameworks that give operators and leadership the precision required for confident, daily decision‑making. Your output influences school launches, strategic direction changes, and operational momentum – it must be timely, reliable, and actionable.

You will be responsible for a dynamic, AI‑enhanced finance infrastructure. This includes unified P&L models across schools and verticals, continuously updated 12–18 month forecasts that remain current within 72 hours, and dashboards engineered to highlight the critical two or three performance drivers. You’ll deliver these capabilities using Klair, Syft, and Retool – independently, without reliance on engineering resources.

If you’re ready for your financial models to shape execution rather than merely document outcomes, this position offers that opportunity. You won’t observe from a distance. You’ll operate at the core of strategic momentum.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and sustain integrated 3‑statement financial models for every school and business vertical – connecting enrollment projections, headcount planning, and capital expenditure into a unified forecast framework.
  • Refresh rolling 12–18 month forecasts on a weekly cadence using current data, and perform scenario analysis to evaluate upside and downside exposure.
  • Create executive‑level dashboards fed by live data streams – surfacing the most impactful levers to support confident, real‑time decisions.
  • Deploy AI and automation to identify irregularities, monitor variance trends, and remove manual spreadsheet dependencies throughout finance workflows.
  • Author concise strategic memos summarizing financial exposure, decision alternatives, and budgetary trade‑offs – prepared to board standards within 72 hours.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Running a drawn‑out budgeting cycle – your forecasts adapt continuously as the business evolves.
  • Enforcing expense approvals or tracking receipts – your focus is strategic insight and operational control, not administrative overhead.
  • Depending on BI or data teams – you design and deploy your own tools, dashboards, and financial models.
  • Sifting through irrelevant data – your mandate is to isolate the critical insights that influence outcomes.
  • Creating reports that sit unused – your deliverables inform live decisions within days of completion.
Key Responsibilities

Provide continuously updated financial models, forecasts, and executive dashboards that enable daily decision‑making and strategic transparency across an expanding portfolio of schools.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (CPA/CFA/MBA is a plus)
  • Based in the United States and authorized to work without visa sponsorship
  • Available for approximately 25% travel to U.S.

    -based campuses
  • 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, Big 4 corporate finance/M&A (excluding audit), or high‑growth FP&A environments
  • Demonstrated capability in building integrated 3‑statement models compliant with U.S. GAAP
  • Ability to produce investor‑quality analysis and strategic recommendations under compressed timelines
  • Active, daily use of AI and automation platforms (e.g., GPT, Klair, Syft, Retool, Net Suite automations)
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, Oracle, or SAP
  • Background in multi‑location education, real estate/facilities, or operationally intensive sectors
  • Prior involvement in board reporting or investor presentation development
  • Proven success building AI‑driven dashboards or low‑code finance solutions
  • Familia…
