We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Consultant, Actuarial to join our P&C Pricing Analytics team, focusing on Commercial Auto. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our pricing strategy, leveraging your expertise to develop and refine actuarial models, analyze data, and provide recommendations to business partners.
Team Structure:
You will be part of the P&C Pricing Analytics CL team. This is a collaborative and supportive team environment where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the success of the organization.
Role Scope:
- Conduct complex actuarial analyses related to Commercial Auto pricing, adhering to actuarial standards.
- Develop and maintain pricing methodologies.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present actuarial findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with business partners to develop and implement pricing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Priorities:
- Support semi‑annual indication work, including loss development and trend analysis.
- Conduct impact analysis for state rate reviews.
- Collaborate with the predictive modeling team to enhance segmentation models.
- Work with business partners to develop strategy for filed manual rates.
- Address ad hoc data requests and pricing analysis.
Highly Preferred
Skills:
- Attained ACAS and is working towards FCAS or recently attained FCAS.
- Five or more years of actuarial pricing experience.
- Detailed knowledge of actuarial business functions, statistical methods of analysis, actuarial models, actuarial software, and databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, analytical software, and programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in commercial auto pricing.
- Strong ability to obtain and manipulate data, proficiency in SQL and creating data queries.
- Experience with Python, VBA, and Power BI.
This role can be staffed fully remote.

Additionally, you’ll have expertise to provide consultation and recommendations on deliverables and maintain detailed documentation of actuarial models and analyses. You’ll work independently and may lead others.
