What You Will Do

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products by providing tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.
• Interact with customers via video communication software, maintaining accurate records of interactions.

Located in the United States, earn supplemental income by helping people with their taxes.

Who You Are

• Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax‑preparation software.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax‑preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and a current PTIN.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written & spoken).
• Passionate about helping clients navigate complex taxation and committed to enhancing the Intuit brand through excellent customer service.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and confident in interacting with customers through video and audio tools.

What You Need

• Reliable internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria.
• Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week spread across three or more days.

Compensation

Competitive pay with a pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. Base pay ranges (per hour) by location:

• Bay Area & Southern California: $28.80 – $36.50
• Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Washington, Washington DC, Vermont: $27.50 – $34.80
• Minnesota & Ohio: $24.80 – $30.30

Eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits per Intuit governance plans. Pay determined by experience, knowledge, skills, and work location. Intuit conducts regular pay‑equity comparisons across ethnicity and gender.
