Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst–level consultant to support a private equity–backed organization during a transitional period in its finance and accounting operations. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role designed to replace an existing consultant and provide day‑to‑day support across FP&A and accounting while internal processes and automation continue to mature. This is not a strategy or transformation role. The ideal consultant is comfortable getting into the weeds, cleaning up data, maintaining Excel‑based reporting, and supporting ad hoc finance and accounting needs with minimal oversight.

• Acting as a bridge between Accounting and FP&A

You will be dropped into an active environment and expected to:

• Figure things out independently
• Stabilize day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations
• Help maintain and improve existing workflows until internal ownership increases

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on Excel file maintenance
  , data organization, and data scrubbing
• Work with large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability
• Support ad hoc finance and accounting projects as they arise
• Serve as a shared interim resource between Accounting and FP&A
• Assist with process automation efforts already in progress
• Maintain and clean up existing financial reports, models, and supporting schedules
• Provide reliable execution support without requiring strategic direction

Required Experience & Profile

• 4–5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Senior Analyst–level background (not Manager or Director)
• Strong blend of accounting and FP&A knowledge
• Highly proficient in Excel (absolute requirement)
• Comfortable working independently with little to no hand‑holding
• Experience working in messy or imperfect data environments
• Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
• Practical, execution‑oriented mindset

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working with Microsoft Business Central
• Exposure to private equity–backed or fast‑changing environments
• Experience supporting both accounting and FP&A teams simultaneously
