Senior Financial Analyst

Our client, a manufacturer in Irvington NJ, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The Financial Analyst will support Capital Asset controls and assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to achieve strategic decision‑making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, good organization practices and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to communicate findings effectively across departments.

Monday‑Friday onsite with the opportunity for some remote work.

Salary starts at $125,000/year, commensurate with experience.

• Support Capital spend analysis and monthly reporting comparing to budgets and forecasts.
• Drive accountability within Project Mgrs on Capital spend forecast.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.
• Develop and maintain financial models for month‑end reporting while analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision‑making.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• 4+ years proven experience as a Financial Analyst within the manufacturing industry required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Very proficient with Excel. Experience with capital spending and FP&A activities greatly preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and budgeting.
• Power BI programming and Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience a plus.
