Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large family owned in the Blackburn area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Partner due to maternity cover to join their team. They provide a top class and unique working environment, work from home opportunity and great discounts!

Key Duties / Tasks :

• Technical skills including relevant payroll systems experience & excel skills
• Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
• Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
• Must have very strong Excel (VLookUps / Pivot Tables)
• High volume and fast paced role
• Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
• Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.
• Manual calculations
• Experience of T & A system useful
• Experience of bureau / client payroll useful
• iTrent system ideally

Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 9 : 00am to 5.30pm with 1-hour unpaid break.
