Salary: $130,000 – $220,000 per year, plus lucrative bonus.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Tax Manager. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is highly detail‑oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. As a permanent Tax Manager, you will manage and monitor tax reporting and compliance within our organization and make a significant impact in a leading finance company.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax reporting, tax compliance, and tax advisory services.
- Provide expert advice on tax‑related issues, including S&C Corporations.
- Prepare and review complex tax returns and provide practical, high‑quality tax planning services.
- Manage relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and managing their expectations.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks and liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax laws and regulations and communicate any changes to the relevant departments.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Proven experience in tax advisory and tax compliance.
- In‑depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly as they pertain to S&C Corporations.
- Experience working with HNW clients.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong commitment to professional and client‑service excellence.
