Fraud Prevention Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Fraud Prevention Specialist to join their team. As a Fraud Prevention Specialist, you will be part of the Advisor Services Risk & Supervision Management department supporting fraud prevention initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fraud Prevention Specialist

Location: Orlando, Florida / Westlake, TX (Hybrid)

Position type: 6+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

Hybrid: Hybrid Work Model - Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays onsite and Tuesdays and Fridays remote.

• Lead efforts in identifying and preventing fraud within the Advisor Services department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Service, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management to support fraud prevention strategies.
• Monitor fraud trends and train staff and clients on current fraud tactics and best practices.
• Assist in resolving fraud events and advisor firm security data incidents efficiently and effectively.
• Support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives related to fraud prevention and risk mitigation.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on brokerage and fraud prevention preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all organizational levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.
