Fund Controller

Our client is a private equity firm. They seek a Fund Controller to join their West Palm Beach, FL office.

• Assess all fund-related regulatory filings and assist with responses to regulatory inquiries
• Analyze legal documents to understand arrangements affecting financial reporting for investments and funds
• Oversee accounting responsibilities related to fund and investment models
• Maintain internal profit and loss and AUM files
• Drive tactical and strategic projects, including fund launches, regulatory adoption, system implementations, and continuous improvements
• Execute monthly close activities, including variance analysis, reconciliations, estimate accruals, and financial reporting deliverables
• Approve individual investor statements and fund financial statements, including regulatory filings
• Develop and document procedures and systems to enhance departmental accounting and operational efficiency
• Prepare financial information for regulatory reporting and management estimates with commentary and analysis
• Support audits, tax processes, and other ad hoc duties as assigned

• 6+ years of fund experience
• Real estate funds or PE funds required
• Public, private, or combo experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical
