This position will be responsible for the day-to-day payments' fraud activities on the Payment Operations team, focusing on payments fraud detection, prevention, and reporting for our international D2C business. Core responsibilities will include monitoring and analysing fraudulent activities while also analysing trends and generating insights to inform the business on general performance and recommendations for optimizations. Closely monitor and analyse the business’ billing and payments performance

• Continuously review payment activity to detect high-risk behaviour and fraudulent patterns such as card testing, friendly fraud, and other emerging trends.
• Collaborate with Commerce Product and Technology teams to design, implement, and optimize fraud prevention strategies across all payment channels.
• Serve as the go-to expert on fraud and chargebacks within your domain, providing guidance and insights to cross-functional teams.
• Analyse key fraud metrics and trends and deliver strategic recommendations to improve performance and reduce risk.
• Liaise with payment processors, vendors, credit card schemes, and partners to validate transaction data and manage authorization decisions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance fraud detection systems and ensure Global Streaming Platform's risk configurations are effective in preventing fraudulent activity.
• Conduct regular assessments of chargeback data to uncover new fraud patterns and inform rule development
• Present data-driven findings and recommendations clearly across various levels of the organization.
• Perform targeted analyses as needed to support investigations, reporting, or strategic initiatives.

• Strong data analytics, fraud prevention or risk management experience
• Experience working with payments, fraud, or billing
• Strong understanding of payment acceptance options and technologies
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Data analysis skills and ability to effectively present analysis and insights
• Aptitude and willingness to get involved in the details
• Ability to manipulate, question and interpret data in order to develop recommendation.
