Financial Advisor – First Command

First Command, dedicated to helping military families secure financial well‑being since 1958, is seeking leaders with entrepreneurial mindsets and a desire for professional growth. 9 out of 10 of our Financial Advisors are veterans or military spouses, and with 165+ offices nationwide many are located near military installations.

Financial Advisors act as personal coaches to military families, developing and evolving financial plans tailored to short‑term and long‑term goals. They help families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets, and protect against the unexpected. Advisors engage the community to bring new clients to First Command and partner with local military organizations, units, and supporting institutions.

• Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, with support from the local district team and Home Office.
• Partner with local military organizations, units, and other supporting institutions.
• Coach families on developing a comprehensive financial plan that includes savings, banking, investments, wealth management, insurance, and risk management.

• A specialized licensing and comprehensive training program designed for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
• Sponsorship for full registration and licensing as a Financial Advisor using tools and resources provided.
• Preparation and testing for SIE, S6, S63, S65, and state Life & Health licenses.
• Opportunity to join a paid training program with a local district office after successful licensing.
• Initial hourly wage for 3 months (minimum wage in the state), transitioning to a salaried position with progressive incentives during the nine‑month paid training period.
