Senior Technical Finance Analyst- Medicaid

• Collect, analyze, and report on market data linking financial outcomes with operational results, particularly in Medicaid claims and premiums
• Deliver project-based and ad-hoc reporting for Medicaid markets, providing insights into membership analysis and market trends
• Manage ad hoc requests from Market CFOs and leadership, focusing on member utilization and premium reconciliation
• Design and execute advanced SQL queries, pulling and manipulating claims data from databases
• Develop and present Power BI dashboards and visualizations, collaborating with internal teams for BI support

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance or a combination of finance and accounting
• Advanced SQL skills, capable of writing complex queries and data manipulation independently
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI (or similar visualization tools)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Experience with healthcare insurance, Medicaid, or claims data analytics
• Prior exposure to financial analysis or interest in transitioning to actuarial or advanced finance roles
